nferno Nightclub and Clearly Good Music introduce ~Micro~
Ted Keys Trio starting off the night.... that's right folks a live jazz trio, before electronica there was mini and micro in other styles as well. This night we have guesting for us the Ted Keys Trio, come and enjoy their tunes before Tony Kasper hits the Inferno Stage...
(Black Nation Records)
After his last Madison appearance back in September during the Willy Street Festival opening up for John Acquaviva, Tony is taking time out of his busy schedule to provide a night of some relentless beats covering the newest and upcoming House and Techno from artists all over the globe.
Since his first experiences of immersion in the electronic music world, Tony Kasper has managed to keep his finger directly on the pulse of the techno community. He developed his mature passion for music when he was exposed to classic blues, jazz, and rock and roll. From the first moment an audience listens, it is clear to them that Tony's dj sets epitomizes professionalism behind the decks.
Tony's inimitable mixing style is known to be highly adaptable to the ambiance of the events he plays. His technique includes, but not limited to, utilizing three turntables and multiple audio sources to create his unique techno blend. A Tony Kasper dj set, mixing dark and aggressive techno or funky floor-burning techno, will often parallel the driving yet chunky sounds of the well-known Detroit, Swedish, German and Italian techno artists. Tony's primary goal behind the decks has proven to be fruitful as he utilizes his vast knowledge of tracks and quick mixing ability to control an audience with every measure he plays.
As evolution precedes, Tony is now currently working diligently to release his style of Techno and House for the masses. He has specialized in remixing for several artists from the Chicago, Detroit, and Miami area and has already released several tracks, an album, and remixes on such labels as Black Nation Records, Klientele Music, Kompute Musik and Smooth Agent Records.
We are gaining ground in our battle with vocal synths, growling mid-ranges and heavy chords.
This night is our primary weapon. This night is a celebration of the silence between the beats, its sine wave bass you feel move your cloths, its the swing of a hi hat three minutes in that makes you loose control, this isn't music you fist pump to, its music you dance to.
