INSPIRE: a Belladonna Records Presentation
There is one thing that inspires us all, washes away our troubles and brings us together every weekend. You KNOW it. It transforms us into a unified fist pumping, booty bumping stumbling group of dancing robots as we worship the techno speaker Gods, act stupid and spend our rent money to drink away the boring, agonizing work week! Your lovely Madison electronic label, La Belladonna, has enlisted a fabulous local line-up that's easy on the eyes and harder on the speakers...with some really, fun twists!
This is a one of a kind event to experience! Seriously. Rare performances from Madison and Milwaukee artists coming together to pay tribute to music that influenced and inspired them in their own genre-bending way. Enjoy sets from DJ's and live artists who will intertwine completely unpredictable music into their sets that inspired their passion and delirious love n' devotion to the 608 and 414 electronic dance scene.
ADMISSION: Free before 10pm, $6 after. Display your musical inspiration pride and cover is $5 if you are wearing a band tee (the cooler the band tee, the better because judges will pick a favorite and award the lucky guy/girl with a mystery prize!)
BENEFIT RAFFLE: Each admission includes one FREE raffle ticket. Additional raffle tickets may be purchased for $1. ALL proceeds from raffle tickets will be donated to Belladonna's fundraiser for The Water Project, an organization dedicated to providing safe water in underdeveloped countries. She founded Belladonna Records in 2005 and has shared the stage with artists such as Tiki Obmar, Andreas Tilliander, Cepia, The Flashbulb, Pressboard and Landau. Her sound has been described as "Her grace lies in her willingness to keep evolving, mutating and morphing her dreams into haunting atmospheres with disarming gritty textures and bass lines, glitchy pounding beats and underlying sultry voice"
