HaLO w/ Stochastic
Theory & Somegirl

Wednesday October 18 2006

Every Wednesday night Inferno and Dead Beat Productions present HaLO, featuring regional DJs spinning an eclectic club blend of ELECTRO, INDUSTRIAL, EBM, GOTHIC, SYNTH, TEKNO, and RETRO beats. Tonight features LIVE PERFORMANCES from: STOCHASTIC THEORY [Electronic / Synthpop / EBM - Static Sky Records - Madison, WI] Producing songs of lonliness, alienation and recovery, Stochastic Theory's frontmant Chuck Spencer has delved into his own emotional troubles to spawn some of the most beautifully pained and vulnerable EBM-laden synthpop that the scene has heard in quite a while. While most of today's synth seems forced and passively insincere, listeners can easily relate with ST's peaks and valleys, emotional clarity and it's strangely therapeutic nature, vicariously both healing and opening the wounds again. Tonight also features a CD RELEASE PARTY for the new Stochastic Theory album "Opposite Extremes". SOMEGIRL [Electronica / Lounge / Pop - A Different Drum Records - Milwaukee, WI] The third incarnation of Somegirl is currently writing and recording material for their third full-length release which is scheduled for a 2007 release through ADD. [myspace] Tonight also features DJs DJs OPSTORM and SIBERIA. For more details on HaLO, e-mail Dead Beat Productions at [info [at] deadbeatproductions.com]. Doors at 9PM, 21+ ID required. $4 cover all night. $1.50 SELECT PINTS and $1.50 RAIL MIXERS until 10PM.
