New Year's Eve 2006
Saturday December 31 2005
After closing for the bulk of December, Inferno's New Year's Eve 2006
celebration will feature a no-holds-barred battle of Fusion vs. Chrome
, with eight DJs
from two of Inferno's biggest regular events mixing back and forth until dawn!
ADAM THE TREE
[Localsounds] // Fusion
09:00-09:59 // 2005 //
Adam is well known as the driving force behind the new Localsounds.com website, focusing on local musical
talent. He has been a staple in the Madison DJ scene for several years now, and always hits the crowd just
right. His style has changed over time from a mellow rhythm oriented house to a hard synth oriented tech, and then evolved to his current style of a smooth blend of trance. He combines both rhythm and melody into smooth flowing sets with mixes that are locked for minutes at a time. A great way to start off the night!
10:00-10:59 // 2005 //
Getting his start in 1999 in the Fox Cities, DJ psych0tron specializes in pushing the boundaries of dark club music, blending the hard dance beats of powernoise with synthpop and EBM. Psych0tron has held nights and made appearances all over Wisconsin and Chicago over the past six years, including gigs in Milwaukee, Appleton, and Green Bay, and he's currently a resident of the weekly HaLO event at Inferno.
[Hallway Recordings] // Fusion
11:00-11:59 // 2005 //
The man behind the monthly Fusion nights at Inferno plays at his last Fusion night before leaving for Milwaukee. His breakmeat and trekhouse style has played in places like Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Cleveland, and Chicago. The next year will see Alex's solo work released internationally, with his Beer, Beats, and Baldy tour going into full swing. This night will see a special combination of efx, drums, and vocals incorporated into his set, with a special countdown to 2006 in store!
12:00-12:59 // 2006 //
One half of the notorious band The Gothsicles and a resident of Chrome, DJ :EYG: brings a lively mix of high-tempo electro, industrial, and powernoise to Inferno every second Saturday of the month. Her style seamlessly mixes both cutting-edge and classic tracks, spinning everything from hot-off-the-presses floorkillers to club anthems. Be ready to stomp in 2006 with :EYG: on the decks!
[Whynot] // Fusion
01:00-01:59 // 2006 //
The man with the most wanted record collection in Madison graces us with his presence for this special gala. Known for having rare bootleg records, and skills that bring the energy from the turntables directly to the dancefloor, he brings down the house every time he plays. Be on the lookout for a set of records you may never hear anywhere else this New Years Eve!
02:00-02:59 // 2006 //
Chrome resident, promoter of Dead Beat Productions, and the mastermind behind the powernoise band Caustic, Eurotic will be spinning a set ranging from classic stomp to the newest industrial. He plans on bringing in the new year with a propulsive mix of high energy hardbeat that will keep the floor moving nonstop. Eurotic's life-threatening intensity is something not to be missed!
[Circuitworks] // Fusion
03:00-03:59 // 2006 //
With a smooth blend of all types of house music, this man is a regular guest at Nick Nice's infamous Shakedown nights at the cardinal. Having played most venues in Madison several times over, he spends a night with the Fusion and Chrome folks to lay down some skills. Definitely a reason to get down in the new year!

04:00-04:59 // 2006 //
